BORED? (8/29/11)

GOD IS WITH YOU UPHOLDING YOU! (8/10/11) It is easy to say, “Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!” when times are good. It is easy to believe that God loves you when you are on the mountain top enjoying the sunshine. But what happens when you are down in the dark valley surrounded by your enemies? Never forget that God Is With You Upholding You. God tells us in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." We must REST in His promises, REST in His grace, BELIEVE that He means what He said regardless of our circumstances.   Thank You Life Christian University! (7/10/11) Yesterday morning was the conclusion of my 9th year as Director of Abiding Life's Life Christian University in Fairfax County. I just want to say a special "thank you" to all the students and instructors that have made those nine years fulfilling and rewarding in many ways. I especially want to thank those students who contributed toward the surprise gift I received after the graduation ceremony. God bless you guys. I know God has many great plans for each of you. Life Christian University is positioned to reach higher heights and achieve greater success under the leadership of Pastors Pitts Evans and Gina Cobb.

STUDENT ORIENTATION! (7/1/11) In one month we will be holding a ZADOK Student Orientation for all our ZADOK Students and teachers. This is scheduled for Tuesday, Auguest, 2nd at 3416 Pipit Drive, Alexandria. We will get introduced to each other and make sure each student has filled out their application properly and have met the basic qualifications for entrance into our seminary courses. We will review our plan and expectations for the coming school year, which we expect to officially begin classes the following Tuesday, August 9th.   DIVINE HEALING IS FOR YOU! (5/2/11) Many people are limiting God in the area of healing because of their religious tradition or human reasoning. Many will gladly teach spiritual blessings are for today, but they will stop short of saying physical healing is for today. When you deny that physical healing is part of your redemption, you are limiting God. When you deny that physical healing is part of redemption, you are not properly discerning the Lord's body and blood, which was shed for you. Jesus' death on the cross was physical. Paul said, "For this reason (not discerning the full purpose of the broken body of Jesus on the cross) many (in the church) are weak, and sick, and many sleep" (I Cor.11:30).     CRUCIFIXION AND RESURRECTION! (4/22/11) The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. All we believe, all we do, & all we hope for hinges on the certainty of these powerful history making and life changing events. Sin, sickness, poverty, and death have been defeated on the cross. Righteousness, health, abundant provision, ...and abiding life have been provided at the cross; But without the resurrection, we’d have no guarantee or proof of the accomplishments of the cross   NO LONGER UNDER THE SCHOOLMASTER! (4/17/11) All religious works & law are fulfilled & completed in Christ. To fulfill means to complete it's purpose. He was the end or the completion of the law and any form of "working" for salvation. The law was a "schoolmaster to bring us to Christ" (Gal 3:24), but Paul declares by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, "After faith is come we are no longer under the schoolmaster." In other words, we are no longer under the law, because of faith. Hallelujah! (II Cor.3:6-13; Eph.2:15; Rm.10:4; Col.2:14-16; Rm.7-8)   STUPID GALATIANS! (4/5/11) Paul strongly rebuked the Galatians for returning to the law after being once established in the Gospel of Grace. "O foolish Galatians" (3:1). The greek word for "foolish" is "Anoetos". The Complete Jewish Bible says, "You stupid Galatians". God's Word Translation says, "You stupid people of Galatia". Paul never used this strong of a rebuke to any other church on any other subject. It was the departure from the radical grace of the cross of Jesus that got Paul so upset.   75% SUPER DISCOUNT FOR THOSE APPLYING EARLY, IN APRIL! (3/25/11) God wants us to be less sin-conscious and more righteousness-conscious. He wants us to be less self-conscious and more Christ-conscious. God wants you to be conscious that in Christ, you have forgiveness of sins through His blood. God wants you to be conscious that Christ was wounded and bruised for your sins, and that the chastisement for your peace was upon Him. (Isaiah 53:5) When you are Christ-conscious, you will have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) You will know that you are the righteousness of God in Christ because He who knew no sin was made sin for you. (2 Corinthians 5:21) He took your sin and now you have His righteousness STOP TRYING TO MEASURE UP! (3/15/11) Never forget that Grace and Righteousness are free gifts of the New Covenant. Nothing you do can make you any more righteous than you are when you are Born Again and receive this free gift. This should produce amazing freedom in your soul. Unfortunately, too many of us frequently forget the free gift. We spend our lives basing our relationship with God on our performance rather than on His free gift of righteousness. We see our identity as never being worthy of His love. Isn’t it time to stop trying to measure up and begin accepting the transforming power of God’s grace?   GOD'S GRACE AND CHRIST'S RIGHTEOUSNESS STOPS SIN! It is the covenant of grace, favor, love, and power based on the blood of Jesus. Grace is unmerited, undeserved, unearned favor. God wants us to know that He made and established this covenant with us through Christ as our representative. According to this covenant, we have His divine undeserved favor.   SCHOLARSHIPS! (3/1/11) ZADOK University is offering a limited number of partial scholarships and discounts for our first trimester, starting in August, 2011.     God's Grace and Christ's Righteousness stops sin! Your righteousness isn't based on "right-doing", it is based on "right-being". Righteousness doesn't come through "right-actions", it is through "Right-standing". Righteousness isn't a matter abstaining from "sin" it's a matter of "Resting" in His Righteousness. If sin could stop God's Grace from operating then sin is stronger than grace. Sin cannot stop God's grace, but God's grace will stop sin!
