PRAYER PARTNERS

Abiding Life Church will begin it's first Sunday morning service soon. It is time that we get serious about prayer for the launching and effectiveness of this new church congregation. Prayer is the cornerstone of every great move of God, including the original out-pouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. We believe in the power of prayer and we know you do too.

I would like to personally invite you to join me in prayer as we embark on this wonderful journey of a great church ministry in the Alexandria/Annandale/Arlington area in Virginia. We are officially launching a prayer ministry to unite people around the world in prayer for God's work in this "Inside the Beltway" area of Northern Virginia. Our desire is to have 120 prayer partners, the same number of people in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost.

What is a Prayer Partner?
 - All I am asking you to do is to pray for our church regularly. Ideally, I'd like for you to pray for this ministry daily. But please commit to praying for us at least once per week;
 - Intercessory Prayer will be the backbone to the success of this ministry. I'm just asking you to regularly lift us up in prayer to our Heavenly Father;
 - We are simply giving you an opportunity to sow seed into this ministry and this metropolitan area, through your prayers;

What a Prayer Partner is not:
 - A Prayer Partner is not necessarily someone who plans on attending our church;
 - A Prayer Partner is not necessarily someone who sends cash donations to our church;
 - A Prayer Partner is not asked to attend any organizational meetings;
 - A Prayer Partner is not asked to volunteer on any committee or do any work for the church, other than to pray;

What should you pray for?
 - Pray that God will put together the Leadership Team that He desires us to have;
 - Pray that God will put together a quality Launch Team to help us get things off the ground;
 - Pray for us that we always follow God's perfect Divine direction in all we do;
 - Agree with us in prayer that we will impact people's lives in a powerful way;
 - Pray specifically for the success of our first Sunday service;
 - Pray that we will find favor with multitudes of people in the greater metropolitan area.
 - Pray that lives will be dynamically and radically changed for Jesus Christ.
 - Pray that God confirms His Word with supernatural signs and wonders.

If you would like to be a Prayer Partner, all you have to do is respond to us by e-mail, or fill in and send the form below. In the weeks and months to come, I may send you some specific prayer requests. Please regularly pray for us and let us know any Words from God that you receive concerning these prayer requests.
